In Odesa, several people were injured as a result of a massive Russian drone attack carried out the previous evening. They are receiving medical assistance, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

Preliminary reports indicate that three people were injured in Odesa as a result of the Russian mass drone strike.

"According to preliminary information, three people were injured as a result of the Russian mass attack on Odesa. Medical teams are providing them with all necessary assistance," wrote the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, in his post on the night of April 22.

Massive drone attack on Odesa

As previously reported, on the evening of April 21, the Air Force announced the detection of Russian strike drones heading toward Odesa. Residents were advised to remain in shelters until the air raid alert was lifted. Soon after, a series of explosions were heard in the city.

Monitoring groups and local social media pages reported that the drone strike on the city was massive. Later, there was also information about large fires in Odesa caused by the strike.

By the night of April 22, the Odesa regional military administration and the city council confirmed that the drone strikes had damaged civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, an educational facility, and vehicles. Fires had also broken out.

Local authorities clarified that Russians targeted residential areas in densely populated parts of Odesa, causing significant damage to numerous apartments.

Emergency services are working to eliminate the effects of Russia's drone strikes on Odesa.
