The city of Kharkiv was targeted in a drone attack overnight, with explosions reported in two districts. Residential buildings and a restaurant were damaged as a result of the strikes, and there were casualties, states Dmytro Chubenko, spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the regional prosecutor's spokesperson, around midnight, three drones struck Kharkiv - two in the Kyiv district and one in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Preliminary reports suggest that the enemy used Geran strike drones for the attacks on Kharkiv.

In the Kyiv district, a Russian drone hit the second floor of a residential nine-story building. At the time of the strike, the apartment was unoccupied. Chubenko emphasized that there were no serious injuries in this building.

"As of 1:00 a.m. Kyiv time, two people sought medical attention for acute stress reactions, while two others were carried out on stretchers by paramedic teams. They are receiving medical care, and doctors are examining them," he said.

The spokesperson also noted that the individuals are elderly, and their condition is currently unknown.

Another strike in the Kyivskyi district hit near a restaurant building, which was damaged in the attack.

The third strike occurred on one of the city's main streets (Shevchenkivskyi district), where the road surface was hit. It caused damage to the windows and facade of a seven-story residential building, with dozens of windows shattered.

"Currently, prosecutors and investigators are on-site to collect fragments of the drones and include them in the criminal case materials. The case has already been opened under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," Chubenko added.
