The Russians claimed that a drone allegedly crashed into an oil depot on the night of November 1. It happened in the Stavropol Krai, according to the head of the Stavropol Krai, Vladimir Vladimirov.

“Last night, a drone crashed on the territory of an oil depot in Svetlograd,” he writes.

According to the official, there were no casualties as a result of the attack, and the relevant services are working at the site.

At the same time, a video of the drone hit was posted online. The footage showed an explosion followed by a fire. The tanks of the oil depot were damaged. However, Russian Telegram channels later deleted the video.

Russian Ministry of Defense claims that Russian air defense neutralized as many as 83 drones at night. Of these, 36 were over the Kursk region, 20 over the Bryansk region, 12 in Crimea, 8 over the Voronezh region, 4 over the Orel region, and 3 over the Belgorod region.

Stavropol Krai borders Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai. The distance to the city of Svetlograd from the border with Ukraine is about 600 km.

Ukraine hunting for refineries in Russia
