According to online communities, power outages were reported in Engels after a series of explosions. In addition, a fire reportedly broke out near residential buildings. Preliminary reports suggested it was caused by Russian air defense systems intercepting targets directly over the area. However, the accuracy of these reports about the fire has not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile, by morning, open-source intelligence communities reported that a column of smoke and a fire were observed near the Engels-2 air base following the drone attack.
