Explosions were heard in Tyumen on Monday, October 6. The city came under attack by unidentified drones, according to the Information Center of the Tyumen government and ASTRA.

According to the government's information center, three drones were "detected and neutralized" on the premises of an industrial facility in the Antipino district of Tyumen.

Emergency services were dispatched to the site, and workers reportedly prevented the drones from detonating. No casualties were reported, and officials claimed that no explosions occurred.

However, ASTRA reports that residents heard two explosions during the attack. Videos circulating online show fire trucks rushing through the city.

Rumors suggest that a Tyumen oil refinery may have been the target of the drone strike.

It's worth noting that Tyumen is located about 1,900 kilometers from the Ukrainian border in the Kharkiv region.
