Drone attack on Odesa: Number of injured rises to 20
20 people have been reported injured as a result of a Russian drone attack on Odesa on March 2, according to the Department of Health of the Odesa Regional State Administration.
"A total of 20 people were injured, including one pregnant woman. Three people remain hospitalized. Two individuals are in the intensive care unit in critical condition, and one person with moderate injuries is receiving treatment in the trauma department," the statement said.
Medical personnel are providing the injured with necessary medical assistance.
Additionally, as a result of the Russian drone strike on a residential building, 12 people were killed, including 5 children: 4-month-old Tymofii, 7-month-old Liza, 3-year-old Mark, 8-year-old Zlata, and Serhii, who would have turned 10 in July.
Russian drone attack on Odesa
On the night of March 2, Russians attacked Odesa and its surrounding areas with drones. As a result of the attack, an enemy drone hit one of Odesa's high-rise apartment buildings, causing damage to 18 apartments. Rescue workers spent two days clearing the rubble at the scene.
As a result of the enemy attack on Odesa, a military family with a 7-month-old daughter was killed.
Yesterday, March 3, the bodies of a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl were found under the rubble in Odesa. They were brother and sister.
The Foreign Minister of Lithuania said that the Russian attack on Odesa is an absolutely horrific killing of Ukrainians, emphasizing that there must be immediate consequences for Russia.
