Drone attack on Kharkiv: Fire erupts due to Shahed's impact
During the Russian air attack in Kharkiv, involving kamikaze drones of the Shahed type, a strike occurred in one of the city's districts. A fire broke out there due to the impact, according to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), and Ihor Terekhov, the Mayor of Kharkiv.
According to the head of the administration, a strike was recorded in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv.
"A fire broke out. Information about casualties is being clarified," the head of RMA reported.
Meanwhile, the city mayor specified that the impact occurred in the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv.
"There is a fire at the impact site. Information about casualties is being clarified," Terekhov wrote in his Telegram.
Additionally, residents of Kharkiv are urged to be cautious as the air raid alert has not been lifted, and the Shahed drone attacks continue.
"New drones are entering the city," he added.
Meanwhile, more explosions were heard in Kharkiv.
"The enemy has struck Kharkiv with at least five drone attacks! The threat persists. Take cover," the RMA head reported.
Shahed attack
Earlier, it was reported that this evening, the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned about the detection of enemy combat drones' movement in the skies of Ukraine. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions.
Later, it became known that explosions were heard in Kharkiv due to the Shahed attack. Air defense systems are active in the region.
Subsequently, the military reported the movement of enemy kamikaze drones from several directions towards Poltava. Explosions were also heard in the vicinity of this city.
