On Monday, June 2, after 4 AM Kyiv time, Kharkiv was attacked by Russian drones - the incident resulted in casualties and damage. This was announced by Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov, according to his post.

According to him, the Russian drone attack on Kharkiv’s Kholodnokhirskiy district damaged a civilian business building, several private homes, and vehicles.

Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov reported that six people were injured, including two children. Medical personnel are providing necessary care.

Additionally, the Russians struck Kharkiv with two ballistic missiles. So far, it’s known that one hit a road in the Kyivskyi district of the city.

Early on June 2, explosions were heard in Kharkiv following an attack by Russian drones. The Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnogirskiy districts were hit. At that time, no information about casualties was available.

Moreover, air raid alerts were announced twice overnight across Ukraine due to missile threats, particularly from the potential use of ballistic weapons by the Russian forces from the northeast.
