Strike on Dnipro
On the morning of June 24, a series of explosions occurred in Dnipro. The Air Forces detected two ballistic targets in the direction of the city.
As it later became known, the Russians hit the residential sector.
In addition, the passenger train "Odesa-Zaporizhzhia" was damaged: the blast wave shattered the windows of the carriage, but there were no direct hits.
In general, the city sustained severe damage to: schools, kindergartens, a dormitory, a gymnasium, a city hospital, a clinic, and an administrative building.
Almost all of these institutions were either hit or damaged.
As a result of the enemy strike in the city, 19 people were killed.
It is worth noting that Oleh Stovolos, the head of the civil protection department of the Main Directorate of the SES of Ukraine in Kyiv, told RBC-Ukraine whether there is currently a truly safe place during enemy attacks and why the “two-wall rule” could save a life.
