On the night of November 3, Russian occupiers attacked the Chernihiv region with drones. The air raid alert lasted a total of 11 hours, informs the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.

"The air raid alert lasted almost 11 hours across the Chernihiv region. The enemy was launching drones," he said.

Consequences of drone attack

In a village in the Chernihiv region, fragments of a Shahed drone hit a two-story apartment building.

"Windows and doors, the foundation, and the roof were damaged. A nearby utility building caught fire, and vehicles were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured," Chaus noted.

Additionally, in another village, fragments of Shahed drone debris caused dry grass to catch fire.

Drone attack on Ukraine

On the night of November 3, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. Alerts were announced in several regions, and Kyiv, and lasted for more than 5 hours. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and the region, and air defense systems were active.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that the drones attempting to attack Kyiv flew at very low altitudes and in groups. Despite all drones targeting Kyiv being shot down, damage was reported in two districts due to falling drone debris.

Recently, the Center for Countering Disinformation mentioned that new methods would be introduced in Ukraine to counter Russian drones, as Russia aims to conduct round-the-clock Shahed attacks.
