Drone attack hits Russia's Saratov as oil refinery and Ozon warehouse burn

On the night of September 11, Russia's Saratov region came under a drone attack. Fires were reported at at least two sites in the regional capital, according to OSINT sources.
At around 2 a.m., Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin said that the Russian Defense Ministry had provided information about a potential drone threat.
"Warning systems may be activated locally in areas where there is a possible threat. All emergency services have been placed on full alert," he added.
Starting at around 2:30 a.m., videos showing a massive fire began appearing widely on social media. OSINT sources reported that the local oil refinery had caught fire as a result of the drone attack.

An hour later, channels reported that, according to preliminary information, a fire had also broken out at an OZON logistics hub in addition to the refinery.

There were also reports of explosions in Engels, Saratov Region. It remains unclear whether anything was attacked. No official comments have been made either.
Governor Busargin confirmed that civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of the drone attack.
Other attacks
On the night of September 8, Ukrainian drones also attacked Saratov, specifically the oil refinery. Russians reported explosions and a fire, while the regional governor confirmed damage to civilian infrastructure.
Saratov has been attacked more than once, and, for example, since August 2, the local oil refinery has already suspended operations for the second time.
