Enemy drone attack on Kyiv on March 21
On the evening of March 21, Russian forces launched a wave of kamikaze drones toward Ukraine in another aerial attack, with enemy UAVs entering the country’s airspace from multiple directions.
Due to the threat of Shahed drone strikes, air raid alerts were declared in several regions.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv during the attack, while local authorities reported air defense operations across the capital, including on the city's left bank and in the Pushcha-Vodytsia area. Enemy drones were also detected moving toward the city center.
Kyiv officials confirmed that debris from a downed drone ignited a fire on the roof of a residential building in the capital’s Podil district.
