The Freedom of Russia resistance movement carried out a series of sabotage operations on the territory of the aggressor state, destroying dozens of locomotives used to transport weapons and ammunition in the war against Ukraine, reports the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR).

According to the report, the Freedom of Russia movement, which opposes the Kremlin regime, conducted a series of successful operations targeting the enemy's logistics infrastructure.

"The Freedom of Russia rebels have been active since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and are currently one of the largest and most effective resistance movements operating inside Russia," the HUR noted.

The strikes targeted locomotives used by Russian forces to deliver weapons, ammunition, and equipment to the front lines in the war against Ukraine.

"Partisans' Molotov cocktails destroyed the control and power systems of dozens of locomotives transporting military cargo. The attacks significantly slowed the movement of enemy resources and disrupted the stability of logistics support for Russian army units at the front," the HUR added.

Situation on the front

Yesterday, Ukraine's Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck two concentrations of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as one enemy artillery system.

Over the past 24 hours, Russia's losses exceeded 1,000 troops. Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed six armored vehicles, 15 artillery systems, 172 tactical-level drones, 84 vehicles, and one unit of special equipment.
