Double standards regarding Ukraine and Israel air are unacceptable - Nauseda
Western media reports on the unacceptable double standards applied by the West in providing aid to Israel and Ukraine, according to Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
"It is unacceptable that, as you correctly pointed out, we apply double standards. Our aid to Israel undoubtedly does not compete and should not compete with our attention to Ukraine," Nauseda said during discussions with journalists.
He noted that if allies stand for democratic values, they should not calculate how much assistance to provide to some countries versus others.
"In the end, our inability to deliver weapons and, above all, air defense systems costs lives every day... I am convinced that we are losing focus on Ukraine," added the Lithuanian President.
