Donald Tusk agrees to meeting with Zelenskyy, reveals scheduled date
The new Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, may hold a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as early as tomorrow, December 14th. Tusk has shared this information with journalists ahead of the EU-Western Balkans summit.
The head of the Polish government has announced that the Ukrainian side has proposed a meeting with Zelenskyy tomorrow, December 14, in the morning. Currently, technical details are still being coordinated.
At the same time, Tusk has noted that it is still unclear how President Zelenskyy will participate in the summit of EU leaders, which will begin tomorrow, December 14.
"So I'm not ready to give a specific answer as to where and when, but I'll say that I'm ready for such a meeting. And, probably, it will take place tomorrow morning," the Prime Minister has added.
Tusk has reminded that he has friendly relations with the Ukrainian president, and "if friends invite, then he'll be there the next day where he needs to be."
