US President Donald Trump has effectively declared that US is fully prepared for a potential nuclear war with Russia, according to the Clash Report.

Notably, recently, Russia’s Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, who previously served as Russia’s president, sharply criticized Trump’s ultimatum on secondary tariffs against Russia.

Moreover, the controversial politician insisted that every ultimatum from the US president is a step toward war between Russia and the US. In response, Trump warned Medvedev to watch his words, saying he is treading on very dangerous ground.

During a recent conversation with reporters, Trump noted that the former Russian president issued a threat, adding, they will protect their people. He also commented on one of Medvedev’s posts.

“You just read what he said. Medvedev was talking about nuclear; when you talk about nuclear, we have to be prepared. We are totally prepared,” Trump told journalists.

Trump deploys nuclear submarines

On August 1, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines in response to threats from Dmitry Medvedev.

“I have ordered two nuclear submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that. Words are very important and can often lead to unintended consequences. I hope this will not be one of those instances,” Trump wrote in his post.
