Doctor shares pleasant way to combat stress
Ukrainians are constantly under stress due to the war, which is further exacerbated by everyday problems. Magnesium baths can help relieve tension in the body and improve emotional well-being, according to a post by dietitian Svitlana Fus on Instagram.
The specialist explains how magnesium baths specifically affect the body.
"Nowadays, baths with magnesium salt (magnesia, Epsom salt, English salt) are gaining popularity. Salt baths contribute to reducing stress hormones in the body, which is extremely necessary for all Ukrainians right now," says Fus.

How to take magnesium baths
Fill a bath that is not hot (up to 40 degrees). Add 150-200 g of magnesium salt for an adult, 50 g for a child. During subsequent procedures, the dose can be increased.
Immerse yourself in the bath up to the heart line for 15-20 minutes for the first time, then up to 30 minutes. After the bath, you can apply a lotion to moisturize the skin, it will also increase the feeling of relaxation.
For a recovery course, take magnesium baths 2-4 times a week. 10-12 treatments will show a noticeable effect. Then you can take a bath with magnesium salt 1-2 times a week or less often, as needed. Courses can be repeated every 2-3 months.
