During filming in eastern Ukraine, Ibrahim Naber, a journalist for the German news agency Die Welt, was wounded.

According to him, he and his team were accompanying a Ukrainian air defense unit when a Russian Lantset drone attacked a military vehicle parked nearby.

As a result of the Russian attack, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, and another was severely injured and had to undergo amputation. Naber, his cameraman Viktor, and producer Ivan were injured. The latter has already been discharged from the hospital, although he still has a piece of shrapnel in his leg.

"One of the three soldiers, Konstantin, was killed; another, Ihor, was so heavily wounded that one of his legs had to be amputated. My thoughts are with them and their families," the journalist writes.

According to Naber, the Russian attack took place about 25-30 kilometers from the front line. The journalist notes that they were a few meters away from a crew of Ukrainian military personnel who were saving the lives of other people by shooting down long-range drones launched by Russia to attack Ukrainian cities.

Journalists killed on the front line

Earlier, the Donetsk regional military administration reported that Russia killed Freedom TV journalist Olena Hubanova (Hramova) and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin in Kramatorsk. Another journalist was also wounded. Russians struck them with a Lantcet drone.

In addition, Russia killed French journalist and photographer Antoni Lallican near Druzhkivka with an FPV drone attack. His colleague, Heorhii Ivanchenko, was wounded. The French prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the killing of Lallican by the Russians.
