Early in the morning on August 21, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Lviv. Strikes were recorded in several districts of the city at multiple locations, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reports.

According to rescuers, hits were registered across different areas of the city, damaging private houses, non-residential buildings, and vehicles.

“Unfortunately, one person was killed due to the attack. Preliminary reports indicate two people were injured,” the SES stated.

Rescue workers, medics, and utility services continue to operate at the sites of the strikes.

The SES also released footage showing the aftermath of the massive attack on Lviv.

Explosions sounded in Lviv overnight and in the morning during an air raid alert.

Russian forces launched a massive strike on Ukraine using Shahed drones and missiles. As a result, one person was killed, three others were injured, and dozens of buildings were damaged.
