As a result of the attack, residential buildings, cars, and utility structures were damaged in several districts of the city.

"All relevant services are already working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling of Kharkiv," Terekhov reported.

As of 10:07 PM Kyiv time, Terekhov stated that eight people were injured in the attack on the city.

Syniehubov specified that among the injured were three people who sustained wounds: a 14-year-old girl, a 25-year-old man, and a 70-year-old woman. Medical personnel are providing them with the necessary assistance.

Additionally, a 79-year-old woman, a 57-year-old woman, and a 31-year-old man experienced acute stress reactions.

Zelenskyy's reaction

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also responded to the massive attack on Kharkiv. He shared a video of a drone strike near a sports ground in the city.

According to him, in the face of such attacks, discussions about easing pressure on Russia or lifting sanctions are inappropriate.

"Russia kills every day and prolongs this war. The American proposal for an unconditional ceasefire has been on the table for half a month. Pressure on Russia is needed to save lives and make diplomacy work faster and more effectively. Without pressure on Russia, there will be no result," he wrote.
