A joint delegation from Ukraine, the United States and Russia has reached a site from which humanitarian aid will be delivered to Oleshky, according to Ukrainian MP Davyd Arakhamia and US First Lady Melania Trump.

According to Arakhamia, media representatives from all three countries are working at the site.

They are ensuring maximum transparency during the latest stage of the humanitarian mission.

Four American journalists from Newsmax are documenting the situation on the ground.

They are working as neutral observers alongside representatives of humanitarian organizations from Ukraine and Russia.

"They will independently record and permanently document this historic humanitarian mission," Melania Trump wrote.

Earlier, preparations began for a humanitarian mission to occupied Oleshky, and a Ukrainian delegation set off for the city while specialists were clearing the routes of mines.

Humanitarian aid is scheduled to be delivered to civilians on October 30. The parties have also agreed on a mechanism for evacuating civilians.

This became possible thanks to a localized ceasefire. As Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets explained when discussing the results of the ceasefire in Kherson, local residents can safely go out into the streets for the first time in a long while.
