The defocusing of support for Ukraine across various information platforms, particularly in the international information field, negatively impacts Ukraine, according to a statement from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"The defocusing of support for Ukraine across various information platforms, especially in the international information field, adversely affects our assistance," the statement reads.

According to the President, Russia has succeeded here, and this needs to be acknowledged. He adds that Russia did not succeed on the battlefield but did so in the diplomatic field.

"Exactly on this track. Some countries began to hesitate, some started to balance on whom to help first, Israel or Ukraine. So, all of this definitely has a negative impact," says Zelenskyy.

Background

In early December, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed concern that the conflict between Israel and Hamas might divert the attention of the international community from Ukraine and influence further assistance to our country from Western partners.

At the end of October, the Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, stated that the situation in Israel would not affect assistance to Ukraine since the requests of Ukraine and Israel for military assistance do not intersect.
