Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov is already working with Ukraine's partners on new air defense systems, the systems that could protect Ukraine, states President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address.

According to Zelenskyy, more details have already been revealed about the new missile that Russia used to strike Dnipro.

"We will provide all the details to journalists – international media. The world needs to know the truth and understand that the only one who does not want peace is Russia. This is exactly why Russia needs escalations," the president stated.

Zelenskyy also thanked those partners who have already responded to Russia's latest act of madness.

"But beyond words, we must take action. Specifically, at my instruction, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine is already holding meetings with our partners regarding new air defense systems – systems capable of protecting lives from new risks," the president emphasized.

Strike with a new missile on Dnipro

On November 21, Russia launched a missile strike on Ukraine, marking the first use of an intercontinental ballistic missile, according to the Air Force.

According to media reports, Russia launched a Rubezh missile at Dnipro. At the same time, Putin announced the testing of the Oreshnik missile, which is associated with Rubezh.

Meanwhile, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine clarified that the strike was carried out by the Kedr missile system, with a 15-minute flight time from the Astrakhan region. The missile had six warheads with submunitions, and its speed on the terminal segment exceeded 11 Mach.
