Russian forces are attacking Kyiv with strike drones this evening, December 12. Debris from one of the drones has fallen in the Pechersk district, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

"As a result of the attack by Russian UAVs on Kyiv, debris was recorded falling in the Pechersk district of the capital," the Administration stated.

The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that according to preliminary information, the debris fell in an open area. No fires or casualties have been reported following the incident.

Meanwhile, authorities reminded residents that the air raid alert in the capital remains active due to the drone attack, and Kyiv residents should stay in shelters until the all-clear signal is given.

Drone attack

The Russian army has been attacking Ukraine with strike drones since the morning of December 12. The drones have been spotted in a number of regions of the country.

Enemy drones were primarily detected in the eastern, northern, and central parts of Ukraine.
