On the night of December 14, Russia attacked the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions with drones. As a result, fallen debris and damage were reported, RBC-Ukraine informs, citing Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, and Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

Kyiv region

The air raid alert was announced three times in the region, starting on the evening of December 13 and continuing into the night. Air defense forces were active, and several targets were shot down. Although there were no casualties and no hits on critical or residential infrastructure, some damage was still recorded.

"As a result of debris from downed enemy targets falling in one settlement, an administrative building of the enterprise, two warehouse facilities, and a vehicle were damaged," said Kravchenko.

The Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration also reported that the resulting fire had been extinguished, and operational teams are continuing to document the consequences of the attack.

Cherkasy region

The alert lasted nearly ten hours in the region. Preliminary reports indicate that 25 Shahed drones were destroyed.

"There were no casualties - that's the most important thing. In one case, debris damaged a power line, but repair teams responded promptly," said Taburets.

Russia's attack on Ukraine

The air raid alert across Ukraine began late on December 13 due to the threat of drone strikes.

Alerts were issued in Kyiv, and explosions were reported in Odesa. Later, the alert in Kyiv was repeated due to the threat of Russian UAVs.

The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that Russia directed drones toward the capital on the night of December 14. Air defense forces destroyed up to 10 UAVs that targeted Kyiv.
