Russians sent drones to attack Kyiv on the night of December 14. Air defense forces destroyed up to 10 UAVs, threatening the capital, the Kyiv City Military Administration reports.

Air raid alarms in the capital were announced twice, lasting a total of three and a half hours. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the drones approached Kyiv in waves and from different directions.

"Defense forces detected and eliminated around ten enemy UAVs in various ways, which potentially threatened Kyiv," the statement says.

The Russian air attack resulted in drone debris falling in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. According to preliminary information, the fragments landed in an open area, and there were no casualties.

Night drone attack

On the night of December 14, the Russian army once again attacked Ukraine with drones. The Ukrainian Air Force tracked the movement of Russian UAVs in a number of regions, including the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

In particular, Russian occupiers targeted the Ukrainian capital with drones. Air defense systems were active in Kyiv. Local authorities reported debris falling in the Darnytskyi district. However, the Kyiv City Military Administration later refuted this information.
