The number of casualties in Kyiv has risen following an overnight Russian drone attack on the capital. Among the three dead is a 5-year-old child, and several others were injured, according to the Telegram channel of the National Police of Ukraine.

"As a result of the enemy attack, eight people sustained various injuries, and three others died. Among the deceased is a 5-year-old child," the report states.

Law enforcement also confirmed that drone debris was recorded in several districts of the capital. In particular:

  • In the Dniprovskyi district, enemy drone debris hit a building and fell onto an unoccupied premises;
  • In the Holosiivskyi district, debris fell onto the territory of an industrial zone;
  • In the Podilskyi district, drone fragments damaged a multi-story building;
  • In the Shevchenkivskyi district, debris damaged civilian vehicles;
  • In the Desnianskyi district, fragments were recorded falling onto a forest strip.

Currently, investigative and operational groups, along with Kyiv's criminalists, continue to work at the scene, assisting people and documenting the aftermath of another Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital.

According to the State Emergency Service’s (SES) night report, firefighters indicated the areas where fires occurred. At that time, it was known that two people had died in the capital, and seven were injured.

Additionally, the Russians attacked the Kyiv region this night. The attack caused damage to homes, vehicles, and left two people injured in several areas of the region. More details on this are available in the RBC-Ukraine article.
