Death toll in Kryvyi Rih missile attack rises - Authorities confirm
The death toll from Russia's attack on Kryvyi Rih on January 17 has risen. Currently, five fatalities have been reported, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"Unfortunately, there is tragic news from Kryvyi Rih," he stated.
According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head, a woman who was injured in the missile strike earlier has died in the hospital.
"In total, five people have died. My deepest condolences to all who lost their loved ones," Lysak said.
The attack on Kryvyi Rih
Russian forces launched a ballistic attack on Kryvyi Rih on January 17. The strike caused damage to residential buildings and educational institutions.
Initial reports indicated casualties and injuries, with the death toll rising from three to four and the number of injured increasing from three to seven. Later, the number of wounded in Kryvyi Rih grew to 14.
