"The scale of this tragedy is horrifying. Behind every number is a human life, a family that has lost someone dear or is still waiting for news of their loved ones. Search and rescue operations are continuing at the site. My sincere condolences to everyone who has lost family members. We remain hopeful that those whose whereabouts are still unknown will be found," the regional governor said.
As a reminder, Russia struck Komyshuvakha with guided aerial bombs (KABs) yesterday, November 2. The strikes hit a school where humanitarian aid was being distributed, as well as a shelter.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russian forces knew that humanitarian aid was distributed at the site every week and deliberately struck people there.
We also reported that Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine overnight.
Residential buildings, energy facilities, and infrastructure in several Ukrainian regions came under attack.
