Death toll from Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia rises significantly
As a result of the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia, the death toll has risen to nine. The number of those injured has also increased, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"Nine fatalities and six injured," Fedorov wrote.
He also added that among the victims are two children, aged 4 and 11.
Zaporizhzhia shelling
On the evening of December 6, Fedorov wrote that explosions were heard in the Zaporizhzhia region. Local media reported an explosion in Zaporizhzhia itself.
Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration stated that the Russian army had struck Zaporizhzhia. According to him, a fire broke out at a car service station as a result of the attack.
According to the latest information, seven people had been confirmed dead and four injured after the shelling.
Meanwhile, the Russian army also struck Kryvyi Rih this evening. Two people were killed, and 19 were injured.
