On December 15, near Lviv, a triple accident occurred involving a road train, a car, and a minibus. Seven people died, and three were injured, the police of the Lviv region reports.

"The accident happened today, December 15, at 5:30 a.m. on the Ternopil-Lviv-Rava-Ruska highway near the village of Chyzhykiv in the Lviv district," the report states.

According to preliminary police findings, three vehicles collided: a BMW car, a DAF road train, and a Mercedes Sprinter minibus.

"As a result of injuries sustained in the accident, seven people—the passengers of the Mercedes Sprinter minibus, whose identities are being clarified—died at the scene," the police noted.

In addition, three people were injured: the 45-year-old truck driver, the 39-year-old minibus driver, and his 23-year-old passenger. They were hospitalized in medical facilities in Lviv.

Road accidents in Ukraine

As reported earlier, a road accident in Khmelnytskyi resulted in the deaths of three people. A car crashed into a public transport stop near the intersection of Zarichanska and Peremohy streets.

Additionally, an accident occurred in Kyiv involving a Mercedes-Benz bus, resulting in one death and four people being hospitalized. The bus driver has been notified of suspicion.
