Deadly missile attack on Odesa region port: More victims reported

The number of victims from Russia's ballistic missile attack on port infrastructure in Ukraine's Odesa region on December 19 has increased. A total of 27 people are also reported to have been injured, according to the State Emergency Service on Telegram.
"Eight lives were claimed by the enemy attack on the Odesa region, and another twenty-seven people were wounded," the statement said.
The State Emergency Service recalled that on the evening of the previous day Russia carried out a missile strike on a port infrastructure facility in Odesa district. Some of the injured were inside a bus that found itself at the epicenter of the strike.
"Cargo trucks caught fire at the parking area, and passenger vehicles were also damaged. All fires were promptly extinguished," rescuers wrote.

Russia's attack on ports in the Odesa region on December 19
As a reminder, a day earlier the occupiers launched a massive ballistic missile strike on a port infrastructure facility in Odesa district. As a result of the shelling, cargo trucks caught fire in the parking area.
Initially, seven people were reported killed and 15 others injured.
It should also be noted that a state-level emergency has been declared in the Odesa region due to numerous terrorist acts by Russia targeting energy infrastructure.
