Damage from drone attack spotted in another Kyiv district

On the night of Sunday, May 18, the Russian army launched a massive drone attack across Ukraine. Damage from shelling was recorded in another Kyiv district, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration press service.
According to authorities, as of 8:10 a.m., window glazing damage was found in an apartment in a residential building in Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi district following the Russian attack.
"No fires or casualties. Emergency services are working on site," the statement said.
Other consequences
Earlier reports confirmed debris from a downed enemy drone fell in the Holosiivskyi district. The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified there were no fires or casualties. Specialists are currently working at the scene.
Transport issues
As of 8:45 a.m., an air raid alert remains in effect in Kyiv. This has caused difficulties for residents and visitors moving around the city, with long lines reported at several metro stations.

On the afternoon of Saturday, May 18, the Russian army launched a drone strike across Ukraine. According to the Air Forces, Russia deployed Shahed drones from multiple directions.
Around 3 a.m. on Sunday, May 18, an air raid alert was issued in Kyiv, with explosions heard across the city. The alert remained active as of 8:45 a.m.
The Air Forces reported that overnight on May 18, Russia carried out a large-scale attack using 273 drones, including Shahed strike drones and drone imitators.
