Czechia blasts Russia's 100-day delay on Ukraine ceasefire deal

Russia has been ignoring the US proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine for 100 days. Instead, Moscow continues constant strikes on civilians, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czechia on X.
Czechia reminded that 100 days ago, Ukraine clearly demonstrated its readiness for peace talks by agreeing to the proposal for an unconditional ceasefire.
"And Russia? Sabotage, trolling, absurd demands, and ongoing attacks on civilians," the message states.
The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs is convinced that the Kremlin does not want peace. The Czech Republic called on other countries to apply maximum pressure on Russia.
Ceasefire between Ukraine and the Russian Federation
In the spring, during negotiations with Ukraine in Saudi Arabia, the United States proposed an unconditional ceasefire for at least 30 days.
Ukraine agreed to this proposal, but Russia has still not responded.
After the negotiations in Istanbul on May 16, the Kremlin announced the preparation of a so-called memorandum, in which Moscow promised to lay out its vision of a ceasefire.
However, even after the second round of negotiations, achieving a ceasefire regime was not possible.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, reproached Moscow for blocking the ceasefire initiative for 100 days and intensifying terror against Ukraine.
