Czech President Petr Pavel stressed the need to do everything possible to prevent the war in Ukraine from spreading to his country, informs Ceske Noviny.

Pavel emphasized that efforts must focus not only on stopping the war in Ukraine but also on ensuring that none of the conflict reaches the Czech Republic.

Czech President said that if there is a war in Ukraine today and people are dying needlessly and absurdly, as it happened in the past for reasons many do not understand, they must do everything in their power not only to stop the war in Ukraine but also to prevent it from reaching the Czech Republic.

Czech aid

Last year, the Czech President announced that his country had found 800,000 shells available for purchase for Ukraine.

He explained that the shells could be delivered within a few weeks, but funding is required.

Recently, it became known that under its initiative, the Czech Republic will be able to provide Ukraine with the same amount of ammunition in 2025 as in 2024 — 1.5 million units.

Additionally, as RBC-Ukraine reported at the end of last month, the Czech company LPP Holding developed unique drones controlled by artificial intelligence. These drones are resistant to enemy jamming.

Hundreds of these drones have already been sent to Ukraine, where they are used in combat conditions.
