Czech Foreign Minister arrives in Ukraine for official visit

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský arrived in Ukraine on an official visit, the official account of the Minister on X reports.
This is his sixth trip since the full-scale war began, demonstrating Prague's consistent support for Kyiv.
"I have started my sixth trip in Ukraine with a clear message - Czechia will not give up its support for Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor," Lipavský said.
This is not the first visit by the Czech Foreign Minister to Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion.
In particular, on November 22, 2024, Jan Lipavský arrived in Kyiv by train. He said he wanted to learn how Ukrainians were coping with Russian shelling.
Czechia's aid
Czechia is one of Ukraine's most active partner countries. Prague supports Ukraine's integration into the EU and has provided military aid to the Ukrainian army, including armored vehicles, ammunition, small arms, and other weaponry.
Czechia launched an initiative to procure artillery shells for Ukraine from third countries. These have already been delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Furthermore, Ukraine and Czechia cooperate in defense. Recently, the countries agreed on the joint production of 155 mm caliber artillery ammunition.
