"I am grateful to Cyprus for joining the G7 Vilnius Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine, becoming the 30th country to do so," wrote the head of state.

Zelenskyy also expressed his gratitude to his Cypriot counterpart, Nikos Christodulides.

"We will continue to strengthen European security together and deepen our bilateral cooperation," emphasized the President of Ukraine.

Security guarantees for Ukraine

The G7 countries signed a declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine in Vilnius on July 11-12 to prevent a possible Russian invasion before Ukraine becomes a member of NATO.

Other countries have also joined the Vilnius Declaration on security guarantees, and the list continues to grow.

It was also reported that Ukraine has started bilateral negotiations on security guarantees with the United States and the United Kingdom.
