Croatia will provide assistance to Ukraine as part of a drone coalition. The country will join this initiative, according to the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman met in Riga with Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs. The officials discussed opportunities to expand cooperation between the countries in the fields of economy, energy, and defense.

"In that context, Minister Grlić Radman stated that Croatia intends to join the drone initiative led by Latvia and the United Kingdom," the Ministry emphasized.

The ministers also exchanged views on Croatia’s potential accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Both sides reaffirmed their strong support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

One of the main goals of the drone coalition is to ensure Ukraine’s advantage in the field of unmanned aerial systems through stable supplies.

The coalition is led by the United Kingdom and Latvia. Its members also include Australia, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, France, Estonia, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Türkiye, Ukraine, Germany, and Sweden.

Notably, on September 4, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced a meeting of drone coalition representatives in The Hague.
