Ukrainian intelligence fighters destroyed Russian trucks that were transporting cargo through the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region to Crimea, according to the Risk Department channel.

The fighters carried out an operation in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. The strike targeted trucks delivering cargo to Crimea via the land corridor.

Details of the operation

The strikes were carried out by drones from the Long-Range Aviation Drones unit.

The operation took place in the Zaporizhzhia sector.

The Defense Intelligence noted that the destruction of enemy trucks disrupted the logistics route between the occupied part of mainland Ukraine and Crimea.

On the night of June 23, drones attacked Crimea massively, fires broke out on the peninsula, and traffic across the Crimean Bridge was blocked. Among the targets hit were the Kavkaz port and an oil terminal.

The Institute for the Study of War has documented a sharp increase in the number and depth of Ukraine’s strikes against enemy rear areas. In May and June 2026 alone, more than 500 destroyed Russian trucks and vehicles were confirmed.
