'Crazy S.O.B.': Biden speaks harshly of Putin
US President Joe Biden referred to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin as a "crazy S.O.B." during a fundraising event on Wednesday in San Francisco, according to CNN.
"We have a crazy S.O.B. that guy, Putin, others. And we always have to be worried about a nuclear conflict. But the existential threat to humanity is climate," Biden said, addressing those present at the charity evening.
Biden also criticized comments by former President Donald Trump, who likened his legal troubles to the death of Alexei Navalny.
The American president paraphrased his predecessor's comments and said that "if I stood here 10 to 15 years ago and said all this, you’d all think I should be committed."
"He’s comparing himself to Navalny and saying that because our country’s become a communist country, he was persecuted, just like Navalny was persecuted. Where the hell does this comes from," Biden said, according to journalists present in the room.
US reaction to Russia's plans to deploy nuclear weapons in space
On Wednesday, February 14, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Mike Turner stated a serious threat to US national security as intelligence suggests Russia plans to deploy nuclear weapons in space.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan confirmed this information, and President Joe Biden instructed his administration to negotiate with Russia regarding the possible testing of nuclear weapons in space.
American CNN found out details of Russia's development of nuclear space weapons and the potential threats it poses.
