Count of Ukrainians fleeing to Poland since start of full-scale war: Border guard data
More than 18 million people have entered Poland from Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion by Russian occupiers, according to Poland's border guard on X.
According to border officials, on December 31st, 19.8 thousand individuals entered Poland from Ukraine through the checkpoints.
"Since February 24, 2022 - over 18.145 million individuals," clarified the department.
Simultaneously, on the same day, 11.2 thousand people entered Ukraine from Poland.
"Since February 24, 2022 - over 16.368 million individuals," added the border guard.
Departure of Ukrainians abroad
As of August, it was known that following the full-scale Russian invasion, 2.4 million Ukrainians had left the country and not returned.
