China signals cooperation with France in AI, biotech, and aviation

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that China is ready to cooperate with France in numerous sectors, reports Bloomberg.
According to Wang Yi, the country is prepared to collaborate in areas such as nuclear energy, aviation, artificial intelligence (AI), green energy, and biotechnology.
These statements were made during the minister’s visit to Paris.
“China also is willing to strengthen strategic communication and coordination with France on Ukraine and tensions in the Middle East,” Bloomberg wrote, citing Wang Yi.
The Chinese Foreign Minister's remarks in Paris concluded his European tour, during which he also visited Brussels and Berlin. During the trip, China announced the introduction of anti-dumping tariffs on European cognac, exempting major producers who agreed to a minimum price level.
According to Wang Yi, the matter was properly resolved.
Chinese Foreign Minister on the war in Ukraine
Recently, Wang Yi met with the EU's top diplomat, Kaja Kallas. During the meeting, he stated that Beijing cannot allow Russia to be defeated in the war against Ukraine.
At the same time, the Chinese side rejects any accusations that Beijing is aiding Moscow. The diplomat claimed that if that were true, the conflict would have ended long ago.
