Li Hui, the Chinese government's Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs, visited Brazil today, August 2. Among other things, during a meeting with the Chief Advisor to the President of Brazil, Celso Amorim, they discussed the war in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

Among other things, during his visit to Brazil, Li Hui said that the war between Russia and Ukraine needs "cooling down."

He also mentioned the Six-Point Consensus which was previously jointly published by China and Brazil. According to the countries, this document is intended to promote a political resolution to the war in Ukraine.

Li Hui noted that as of now, this document has allegedly received positive feedback from more than 110 countries.

Recently, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi invited his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba to meet with him in China.
