Operations at the site of the hotel strike in Cherkasy continued throughout the night. A total of 593 tons of rubble have been removed, and rescue efforts are ongoing, according to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).

According to the press service, a hotel building in Cherkasy was destroyed as a result of a missile attack on September 21. This incident led to a fire, as well as the ignition of market stalls.

The attack left 11 people injured, and 13 individuals were evacuated. One person has been rescued from under the rubble. The SESU's psychologists have provided assistance to 117 people affected by the incident.

Attack on Ukraine on September 21

Russia carried out a massive missile attack on Ukraine on September 21. A total of 43 air-launched missiles, including Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55, were fired. The Ukrainian air defense forces managed to intercept the majority of them.

Cities affected by the strike included Kyiv, Rivne, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, and Drohobych. A hotel building in Cherkasy was destroyed in a missile attack.
