Homemade marinated mackerel recipe
Ingredients:

Cleaned mackerel – 500 g

Sugar – 15 g

Salt – 15 g
-
Oil – 50 g
-
Vinegar – 50 g

Black pepper – 2 g
-
Bay leaf – 2 pcs
Preparation method:
First, clean the fish and cut it into rings. Slice the onion into large rings as well.
In a bowl, place a layer of onion at the bottom, then a layer of fish, and continue layering until all ingredients are used.

For the marinade, combine salt, pepper, sugar, oil, vinegar, and bay leaf in a jar. Mix everything thoroughly and pour over the fish. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 24 hours.
Too much salt can overcook the fish, making it dry and tough, so it’s important not to overdo it.
