In Kyiv, the number of injured from this morning's missile attack by the enemy has increased. There is also a report of one fatality, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reports.

According to Klitschko, as of now, it is known that:

  • nine people have been injured, four of whom were hospitalized;
  • one person has died.

Additionally, as a result of the attack, debris was discovered in four districts of Kyiv, namely:

  • Holosiivskyi;
  • Solomianskyi;
  • Shevchenkivskyi;
  • Dniprovskyi.

Specifically, there have been fires on the roofs of buildings, car fires, and damage to a heating main in the Holosiivskyi district.

"Due to the enemy attack and damage to the heating main in the Holosiivskyi district, 630 residential buildings, 16 medical institutions, 17 schools, and 13 kindergartens are currently without heat," Klitschko said.

Shelling of Kyiv

Russian forces regularly carry out attacks on Ukrainian territories, posing a serious threat to the lives and safety of civilians. Various types of weapons are used in these attacks, including missile systems, artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles, and guided aerial bombs.

This morning, December 20, Russian terrorists launched another missile strike on the capital of Ukraine — Kyiv. Following the air raid alert, a series of explosions were heard in the city.

Later, the Kyiv City State Administration showcased the consequences of the shelling of the city.
