Russia strikes Kyiv with ballistic missiles: Consequences revealed
On the morning of December 20, the Russians launched a missile attack on Kyiv. As a result of the Russian shelling, debris was recorded falling in several districts of the capital, according to the Kyiv City State Administration.
As of now, it is known about the fall of debris in:
- Holosiivskyi district - an office building, a gas pipe, and a road surface were damaged. Five cars caught fire;
- Dniprovskyi district - an unfinished building was damaged;
- Solomianskyi district - a preliminary fire in a building;
- Shevchenkivskyi district.
“Preliminary, one person was killed in Holosiivskyi district,” the Kyiv City State Administration adds.

Russian troops systematically shell Ukrainian territories, which poses a serious threat to the lives and safety of civilians. Various types of weapons are used in the attacks, including missile systems, artillery systems, drones, and guided aerial bombs.
In recent months, nighttime Russian attacks with drones and missiles have also become more frequent.
This morning, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine due to the takeoff of a MiG-31K in Russia. Later it became known about a Russian missile attack on Kyiv. A series of explosions were heard in the capital.
