Canada imposes sanctions on Lukashenko's son
On August 9, Canada imposed sanctions on ten individuals and six legal entities in Belarus. The list includes the son of self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko, Nikolai, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada.
As noted, the sanctions list includes Belarusian judges who passed sentences against the Lukashenko regime, as well as persons who manage military production in Belarus in coordination with Russia.
The detailed list of sanctioned individuals includes Nikolai Lukashenko. The Canadian ministry clarified that he is also known as Kolya Lukashenko. This is how the media often refer to the son of the Belarusian President.
