Border guards destroyed enemy drones during an overnight Russian attack on December 14. The fighters shared a video of their combat operations, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.

In particular, the mobile fire groups of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine destroyed three enemy drones in the Sumy region during the night.

"With three precise shots, the border guards shot down three 'Shaheds' in the sky over the Sumy region," the statement says.

Russia's overnight attack

Last night, Russian occupiers launched 132 drones at Ukraine. The launches originated from five locations: Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, and Millerovo.

Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 58 drones. Another 72 drones failed to reach their targets (locally lost), while two returned to Russia.

Air defense systems operated in 11 regions of Ukraine, including the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kirovohrad regions.

According to the reports, the air defense forces destroyed up to ten drones threatening Kyiv. Debris fell in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. Drone fragments were also reported in the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions.
