Biden-Xi Jinping meeting was good for Ukraine - Zelenskyy
The recent meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping in San Francisco was seen as beneficial for Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy expressed the view that the Biden-Xi meeting was good for Ukraine, which is currently grappling with Russian aggression.
"We understand that the fact of their meeting is beneficial for us," said the president.
Zelenskyy added that he cannot confirm whether the U.S. and Chinese leaders discussed the war in Ukraine, but mentioned that Russian invasion should be considered one way or another during negotiations between the leaders of superpowers.
Biden's meeting with Xi Jinping
Recalling the summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), where U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping met in San Francisco on November 15. The talks took place at the historic Filoli estate, with their dialogue lasting about four hours.
